Expand your current network coverage with the newly available Rajant BreadCrumb® ES1, the commercial grade version of the ME4. Developed especially for IIoT (industrial internet of things) applications and for use on more light-duty vehicles, this Kinetic Mesh network device is ideal for use in harsh environments.
A Seamless Solution
The ES1 is compact and portable, while also coming in an 1P67 casing for powerful protection. This network device offers both Wi-Fi access point and Ethernet interfaces to deliver video, data and voice applications. Without the need for various mounting options or squid cables, deployment becomes time-efficient and simple.
The ES1 is effective in increasing wireless network coverage through the combination of Wi-Fi access, Kinetic Mesh backhaul and Layer 2 interface alternating, all in a single device.
As with all Rajant BreadCrumb® products, the ES1 offers next-level security and fault-proof performance. It is the ideal solution for supporting solar, wind, smart city and public safety applications.

The ES1 also has a IP67 casing to withstand strong vibration and shocks. There’s an additional DIN rail mounting kit if you’d like to add this device to your current NEMA enclosure
- Reliable security – For your peace of mind, this device offers cryptographic options (for MAC-address and data encryption) as well as per-packet, per-hop authentication
- Supports various radio frequencies – Link up previously unreachable environments by connecting to a range of radio frequencies, including 2.4GHz and 5GHz
- Compact and easy to transport – The ES1 is petite and lightweight enough to be mounted in a variety of ways, and so can easily be deployed for light-duty vehicles
